Just Arrived: 1 #Alite Colorful, Professional LED Grow Light

I had been wanted to try an LED Grow Light for some time – but after Jerry passed away and my greenhouse was destroyed with hail, I felt so depressed I started avoiding my plants altogether. I was lucky to water them once a month in the winter. In the summer I set them outside and let nature handle the situation. I lost a lot of plants too – and the ones that did survive looked real bad. After getting some help for my depression my enthusiastic attitude has started to return – and so when I saw the #Alite Advanced LED Grow Light I wanted to see if it could help the plants I still had.

The first thing I did was pot up two of the three plants I wanted to try the #Alite LED Grow Light with. They were seriously root bound and were dying. I had to cut a lot of dead plant material off and even do some serious root trimming. I was a bit upset with myself for letting my plants get so neglected. I liked the #ALite Advanced LED Grow Light because this 12W plant light was optimized to produce the most efficient wavelengths of light to produce peak photosynthesis performance in your garden plants. Every gardener knows how important photosynthesis is. For those who are unfamiliar with this term, photosynthesis is the process in which plants use energy from the sun to turn water and carbon dioxide into sugars and starches. The by-product of this is the release of oxygen into the air. Plants grown indoors – or even in a greenhouse in a cold climate during the winter months often do not get enough natural sunlight thus using an LED Grow Light such as the one from #Alite to supplement this process really benefits your plants.

The #Alite Advanced LED Grow Light was manufactured in a precise Heat Sink to generate the least amount of heat and therefore prevent any damage to your plants – and I do have to say I do not feel any extreme heat coming off this light nor do I see any damage to my plants even after I forgot and left it on 2 days straight in a row. The brochure explained that due to the consistent light production and refined light wavelength the #Alite Advanced LED Grow Light puts out, it would maximize my plant growth. I feel this is accurate. I can clearly see how much my plants have grown – and believe me they were in horrible shape. I see more color on my variegated Pink Princess Philodendron too.

The 12 LED Lights – 3 blue, 9 red – are arranged in precise arrangement to improve growth across all plant types. I like the #Alite Advanced LED Grow Light and love the results I am getting from it. I can clearly see the changes in my plants. I also know because they are taking up more water that growth is going on – and some of that may be underneath the soil where I can’t see it, but this is good. This light is also ideal for use with hydroponics, aquaponics and all types of indoor or greenhouse gardening. The light is well-built and I expect it to last for some time. I am happy with it, I see better results than with any other type of grow light I have used and I do recommend it.
