How do you like the book? We are in the county so the city laws do not apply or else we could not have bees either.

I bought a Union Floor Loom Number 36 from a lady the other day and she had bees who simply moved into her hives she had set out for decoration. She moved the hives not knowing it could disrupt the bees since the hive was in a very used spot. Luckily the bees moved with the hive. I hope some find my hive or I find someone who wishes to keep bees here.

I do know I want my bees to live naturally with no chemicals, etc. being put into their hives.

That is so exciting Sheri! We have been thinking about the possibilities of having honey bees in our backyard, but are concerned with our small town's "livestock" laws. I just purchased the book, The Backyard Beekeeper...a beginner's guideto bees in your yard.
